For people all over the world, 2020 has been a strange year. Many businesses folded up, as the cost of running a business became too high during the pandemic. This is one of the reasons why we are particularly grateful this Christmas season.
Despite the pandemic, seeing other companies going bankrupt and folding up, we are so grateful that our company gets to stand tall and we remain renowned metal baler producers.
So to celebrate, our managing director decided to thank our company staff and clients all over the world. He organized for the databases of all our major clients worldwide to be collected, so as to get their addresses.
We then packaged wonderful end-of-year Christmas presents, useful for both individual and company needs. We sent these amazing presents to our clients worldwide, with gratitude notes for their loyalty and even referrals in 2020. We acknowledged that without their loyalty, we would not be standing strong today. Many responded, stating their gratitude for the gifts.
To celebrate them, our managing director asked that the party planning committee should draft plans and a budget to host an end of the year Christmas celebration for all staff members.
All staff members were to be present regardless of their positions or rank in the company. He stated expressly that it was the effort of everybody in the company that gave strength to the company and enabled it to withstand the perils of 2020.
The party date came and all staff members attended in their party regalia. There, the managing director thanked everybody profusely for their efforts during the year.
He stated that he understood how difficult and scary it must have been to work during a pandemic, but they still showed up and gave the work their best. He also mentioned that despite the social distancing rules put in place, work was still very effective with little or no conflict. He thanked all the departments and their heads, giving credit where credit was due. After his speech, custom gifts were given to every member of staff, both great and small; everybody got a gift that was useful for them.
Awards were also given to certain people and departments for the roles they played in boosting sales for the year and in preventing the spread of the virus within the company.
Food was served, music was played and everybody had a lovely time. The party ended with the director encouraging everybody to prepare to overcome all challenges that may arise in 2021. He also instilled hope of a better year in everybody, making promises of a better working environment that can accommodate any challenges in the coming year.
We would also like to use this opportunity to make the promise of an uncompromised and quality service to all our clients all over the world. And as we recess to enjoy the joy of the festive season, we are wishing you and you’re a merry Christmas celebration and a prosperous new year in advance.
