The working principle and operating procedures of the shearing machine

Shearing machine is a machine that uses one blade to reciprocate linear motion relative to the other blade to cut the plate. By means of a moving upper blade and a fixed lower blade, a reasonable blade gap is used to apply shearing force to metal sheets of various thicknesses to make the sheets break and separate according to the required size. Shearing machine is a kind of forging machinery, and its main function is the metal processing industry.

 

Working principle

After shearing, the shearing machine should be able to ensure the straightness and parallelism requirements of the shearing surface of the sheared sheet, and minimize the distortion of the sheet to obtain high-quality work pieces.

 

The upper blade of the shearing machine is fixed on the knife holder, and the lower blade is fixed on the workbench. A material holding ball is installed on the workbench so that the sheet material will not be scratched when sliding on it.

The back gauge is used for positioning the plate, and the position is adjusted by the motor. The pressing cylinder is used to compress the sheet to prevent the sheet from moving during shearing. The guardrail is a safety device to prevent work-related accidents.

 

Operating procedures

1. Before work:

1) Before the dry run test, the machine should be cranked for a working stroke manually, and the equipment can be started after confirming that it is normal.

 

2) For equipment with hydraulic devices, check the oil storage tank and the amount of oil should be sufficient. After starting the oil pump, check the valve and pipeline for leakage, and the pressure should meet the requirements. Open the air release valve to release the air in the system.

 

2. Achieve in work:

1). It is not allowed to cut laminated sheets, trim the edges of unedged sheets, or cut narrow sheets and short sheets that are not tightly compressed.

 

2). The gap between the blades should be adjusted according to the thickness of the sheet, but it should not be greater than 1/30 of the board. The knife board should be fastened firmly and the upper and lower knife board surfaces should be kept parallel. Manual cranking inspection should be used after adjustment to avoid accidents.

 

3) The cutting edge of the blade should be kept sharp. If the cutting edge becomes dull or cracked, it should be replaced in time.

4). When cutting, the pressing device should firmly press the sheet, and it is not allowed to cut under the state of not being pressed tightly.

 

5) For equipment with hydraulic devices, other hydraulic valves except for throttling are not allowed to be adjusted privately.

 

3. After work

The upper knife board should be dropped on the lowest position.

 

Other matters needing attention

1. Before operation, wear tight-fitting protective clothing, fasten the cuffs, and do not open the hem of the jacket. Do not wear, undress, or wrap around the body next to the machine to prevent the machine from being twisted. You must wear a safety helmet, braids should be put in the hat, and no skirts or slippers are allowed.

 

2. The operator of the shearing machine must be familiar with the main structure, performance and use of the shearing machine.

 

3. The shearing machine is suitable for cutting various steel plates, copper plates, aluminum plates and non-metallic material plates whose material thickness is the rated value of the machine tool, and it must be a material without hard marks, welding slag, slag inclusion, and welding seam, and excessive thickness is not allowed.
