Shanghai, July 2026 – Two weeks have passed since the close of Aluminium China 2026, yet the buzz around AUPWIT’s booth (N3‑3J01) at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre continues to grow. What we delivered this year was far more than a static machine display. It was a live, fully integrated production island that demonstrated the entire journey from messy aluminum swarf to high-density, saleable briquettes, all in one continuous flow.
For the first time, AUPWIT brought together nine core equipment units to form a complete, automated front-end scrap preparation line. Visitors were able to walk along the process route and see, step by step, how loose turnings and chips are transformed into a valuable, transport-ready commodity with minimal human intervention.
Live Demonstration: Nine Machines in Perfect Harmony
Our exhibition line was divided into four clear process stages, each showcasing a critical piece of the recycling puzzle.
Stage 1: Feeding and Pre‑processing
The line started with a vibrating screen and a heavy-duty shredder, linked by robust conveyors. The shredder reduced bulky swarf, bundled turnings, and light-gauge scrap into uniform fragments, while the vibrating screen effectively removed sand, grit, and fine contaminants. This pre-treatment ensured a consistent feed for the downstream briquetting process and significantly reduced wear on the main press.
Stage 2: Briquetting – The Core of the Line
This was the undisputed highlight. We exhibited both our single-briquette press and our double-briquette press side by side, allowing visitors to compare their performance in real time.
The single-briquette press offers an ideal entry-level solution for smaller volumes or limited floor space, delivering excellent reliability and quick ROI.
The double-briquette press stole the spotlight for large-scale producers. With its high-speed ejection system and superior compression force, it produces dense, uniform briquettes at a significantly lower cost per ton. This is a game-changer for continuous, 24/7 operations.
Visitors were impressed by the visibly dense, dry briquettes emerging from both machines, which dramatically reduce storage volume and freight costs.
Stage 3: Purification and Fluid Recovery
Briquetting alone is only half the value story. Our de-oiling unit and paper-belt filter were displayed as the essential next step. The de-oiler efficiently separates expensive cutting fluids and coolants from the chips before pressing, and the paper-belt filter polishes the recovered fluid to a quality suitable for direct reuse in production.
This combination not only minimises metal burn-off during melting (thanks to extremely low residual oil content), but also saves thousands of litres of coolant per year. Often this pays for the entire filtration system within months. This was one of the most discussed benefits among technical visitors.
Stage 4: Final Baling and Intelligent Weighing
At the end of the line, our automatic metal baler and weighing & conveying system completed the process. The pressed briquettes are automatically fed into the baler, tightly strapped, and then conveyed to a high-precision weighing platform. The weight data is logged and can be integrated with the plant’s ERP system, enabling seamless inventory management and traceability.
This final step transforms the briquettes into a “standardised product” that is easy to stack, store, and ship, adding real commercial value to what was once considered waste.
Why AUPWIT’s Approach Resonated
Throughout the three-day show, our engineering team conducted over a hundred technical consultations. The most frequent feedback was that AUPWIT offers not just machines, but a complete, customisable layout.
Modular flexibility: Every unit, from the shredder to the baler, can be configured to match your specific throughput, material type, and plant footprint. We do not force a one-size-fits-all solution.
Heavy-duty reliability: Our equipment is engineered for China’s challenging scrap conditions, including oily, stringy, and abrasive aluminium waste. The live running demonstration proved the low noise, stable operation, and robust build quality that our customers have come to trust.
The Show Is Over, But Our Service Never Stops
Even though Aluminium China 2026 has concluded, our project team has already begun site surveys and layout designs for several clients who engaged with us during the event. We are committed to turning every inquiry into a tailored, bankable proposal.
For those who could not attend, or who want a deeper dive, we have prepared a comprehensive technical package, including:
Full equipment specifications (single and double-press models)
Process flow diagrams
De-oiling and filtration performance data
ROI case studies
We also welcome you to schedule an online technical meeting or visit our factory to see the equipment under live production conditions.
